When Purchasing or Selling a Paragliding Reserve, it is always smart to Get An inspection and a Fresh repack. This insures that the buyer knows the condition of what he is selling, and the Buyer of what he is purchasing. Over time Reserve material can wear down, become stuck together, or become damaged.
Each inspection is Carried out by hanging the reserve for 24 hrs in a dry airconditioned room. Then all the sewing and line attachments are inspected, and Porosity test is Conducted. Then the Reserve is Repacked in its container and shipped to the Buyer, or back to the Seller.
